Product option
A product option is a choice a customer makes about a product — such as size, colour or material — whose values combine into the product’s variants.
Options are the questions; variants are the answers. "Size" is an option with values S, M and L; "M" in "black" is a variant.
Good practice
- Use the words customers use: "Size", not "Dimension group".
- Keep values in a logical order (S, M, L — not alphabetical).
- Show colour options as swatches and change the photo when a colour is chosen.
In Soooks
Products can have up to 10 options with up to 50 values each.
