Meta description
A meta description is a short summary of a web page, written in the page’s code, that search engines often show under the page’s title in search results.
The meta description does not change where a page ranks, but it decides whether people click: it is your one or two sentences to say what the page offers.
Good practice
- About 150–160 characters, so it is not cut off
- Say what the page is and why it is worth a click
- Write a different one for every page
In Soooks
