Alt text
Alt text is a short written description of an image, read aloud by screen readers and used by search engines to understand what the image shows.
Alt text makes your store usable for people who cannot see the images, and helps your product photos appear in image search.
Good practice
Describe what matters in the picture in a short phrase: "Brown leather wallet, open, showing six card slots" — not "wallet1" or "image". Purely decorative images can have empty alt text.
