SSL certificate
An SSL certificate lets a website load over a secure connection (https), so what visitors send — addresses, passwords, payments — is encrypted.
Browsers mark sites without https as "not secure", and search engines prefer secure pages. For a store, a certificate is not optional.
In Soooks
Every store's address is served over https, including custom domains: the certificate is set up automatically once your domain is verified.
