How we write our guides

Our guides and feature pages are written to help people start and run an online store. They are written and reviewed by the Soooks team, and they say only what we can check.

Who writes them

The Soooks team writes every guide and feature page, from what we build and what running an online store involves. We may use writing tools to prepare a first draft; a person on the team reads, checks and approves every page before it is published, and is responsible for it.

How we check facts

• About Soooks: anything we say the product does is checked against the product itself before publishing. We describe what it does, not how good it is.
• About anything else: when a page states a fact that is not ours — a rule, a standard, a number — it names the source at the end of the page.
• No invented numbers: we do not publish statistics we cannot source.
• No paid placement: no company pays to be mentioned or recommended on our pages.

Updates

Each guide shows the date it was last updated in substance. We review pages when the product or the facts they describe change.

Corrections

If you find a mistake, write to info@soooks.com with the page address and what is wrong. We correct errors as soon as we have checked them, and change the page's updated date.
